Born in Wrexham North Wales, Sian now lives in rural Carmarthenshire close to the town of Llandeilo
Sian was educated at Swansea Art College, whish is one of the leading European centres specialising in the medium and manufacture of stained glass.
Recently she has employed a more practical form of glasswork that is painting directly onto glass or other wares.
She uses both transparent and opaque paints applied between a lead effect outliner.
This imitates a stain glass effect on glass and a glossy finish on wood or ceramic
In addition to glass works, Sian also paints in oils and watercolours on various formats.
Her paintings largely reflect her love of local wildlife, flora, fauna and her passion of French culture and countryside.
